Toy Box Fun!

They love playing in their toy box!

10 Things I swear by!

As we approach Wyatt & Whitley's 8 month Birthday (OMG!), I wanted to take a look back on the items we've used the ever livin' heck out of since the day we brought them home! ...I hope I can make someones life easier by recommending the following things!
1. The Freakin' Jump-A-Roo

We have 2 of these bad-boys, and the Twins can't get enough of them! There are times when they don't really want to play on the floor, or be held, and this gives them the freedom to stand up & jump on their own and they seem to really love it! I get a lot of my cleaning and laundry done by sticking the runts in this contraption also ;) Hours of entertainment! haha!!!

2. The Pack-n-PlayUntil W & W turned about 4 months, they slept in the pack-n-play in our room. Finally we realized it was about to collapse because they were getting so big, so we had to move them to their cribs in their room! It's still set up in our bedroom though. We let them sleep in there after their early morning bottle, or if one of them is sick. By the way, the twin bassinet part comes off and it's just an extra large pack-n-play. It folds up very easily, and we take it if they twins are going to stay the night with Grammy! Love this thing!
3. Box Fan

For those of you that know me, know I've always slept with a box fan turned on high since as far back as I can remember. Something my mom always had, and I grew addicted to. So, I had to pass the noise-maker down to my children, of course! I don't put it on high, or face it towards them. I turn it on medium and have it face the wall. If it's not on, they don't sleep as well! All babies like a lil' racket to go to sleep to! Try it!
4. Laundry Basket for Bath Time!

Quite simply, it keeps them from falling over or moving all over the tub! They enjoy being close to each other and sharing toys too! This could work with just one baby too!

5. Playtex Drop In Bottles

Some people don't like the hassle of having to use disposable liners for each bottle, but for me it was great! I liked that I didn't have to worry so much about getting the entire bottle soapy and sterilized. I just toss the nipple and ring in a pot with water, boiled them and rinsed the bottle quickly. Only recently have we switched to bottles that are easier for them to hold themselves....Not that they do that or anything! LOL!!

6. Soothie Paci

These are the ONLY pacifiers mine will take! They don't take one very often, but it has to be this one! The only drawback is that it's a little large and goofy looking AND it's very difficult to find a holder for it!

7. Aveeno Baby Wash

With Wyatt having such sensitive skin, the doctor recommended a non-scented baby wash. I really like this one because it's creamy but still lathers. It's a little on the expensive side, ringing up at about $5.00, but if it keeps Wyatt from breaking out- it's worth it!

8. Tandem Stroller

This is by far the coolest stroller EVER! My dad & step mom bought it for us, and we've gotten so much use out of it! The seats come off and can face each other, both forward, both facing me, or one each way! It has a huge under carriage, 2 cup holders and a compartment for keys!

9. Bouncy Chairs

At almost 8 months, they don't spend much time in these anymore, but as infants they did! This is a picture of them hangin out at the front door! Most of them vibrate, so it's pretty soothing. Sort of wish they made one for adults.

10. Mesh Chew Bags

These are fantastic inventions! Basically, you are able to feed your infant anything you want by slipping it into one of these feeders. They can enjoy veggies, fruits, meats, even crackers with out the choking hazard! When W & W see me get them out to fill them with something yummy, they get all excited, it's so cute! heehee! They come 2 in a pack, go out and get them TODAY!!!
